How Sermon Steward works
We read your sermon the way a careful listener would.
Not by the paragraph. Not by the word count. By what you are doing in the pulpit at that moment — explaining the text, making a claim, telling a story, turning to your people. That is how the extras get written from the sermon you actually preached.
1 We cut where the sermon turns
A sermon is not a block of audio. It moves. You open the text. You press a truth. You reach for a picture. You look your people in the eye.
We mark those turns. Each slice is a unit: a stretch of the sermon that is doing one job, until the job changes. That is why a Steward page does not feel like a transcript dumped under a player. It feels like the sermon, in order.

2 We name what that slice is doing
Once the sermon is cut, we name the work of each slice — in ordinary words a pastor already uses.
You will see this on a live page as type, tone, and method, plus a short map of what is in the sermon: the shape of the argument, the doctrines it touches, the Scriptures it cites, the illustrations, the claims.
We are not grading you. We are labeling the moves so the rest of the page can be honest. Small-group questions should come from the places you applied the text. A family conversation should come from the claim you actually made, not from a generic theme we guessed.
3 The extras come out of those slices
For $30 a month you get the hosting — a clean page, the audio, an automatic transcript, browse by Scripture, series, and topic — and the resources for your people.
Those resources are pulled from the units, not invented beside them:

- ✓ Small-group questions from the claims and applications you made
- ✓ Family and couples conversation guides from the same sermon
- ✓ Cross-references that showed up in the preaching
