In ChatGPT, click your profile → Settings.
Open Apps & Connectors → Add new connector.
Fill in:
- Name: Guild Hall (Sermon Steward)
- Description: Search the canonical Reformed sermon reference library by topic, scripture, or theme. (optional)
- Connection: leave as Server URL.
- Server URL: paste the URL above.
- Authentication: change to No Auth.
Check I understand and want to continue.
Click Create. The app appears in your apps list with one tool: ask_corpus.

Individual ChatGPT Plus/Pro accounts can use the connector in read-only mode (which is all this is). Business / Enterprise workspaces have the same access.

Go to grok.com/connectors.
Click New Connector → select Custom.
Paste the URL above as the MCP server URL.
No authentication required.
Save. The connector appears in your Grok connectors list.

Narrow to a single voice

Each Guild member has a filtered endpoint. Use these when you want Claude / ChatGPT / Grok to draw only from one voice — for example, "what did Spurgeon say about Psalm 23?" on the Spurgeon URL. Same setup as above; just substitute that member's URL.

What the Guild Hall is — and isn't

The Guild Hall is the canonical reference library — the voices the Sermon Steward pipeline canonically compares working pastors against for theological alignment, illustrative patterns, and exegetical neighbors. It's a study tool, not a product hosted by the speakers themselves.

All material is public (sermon transcripts, talks, expositions). Attribution is enforced at the data layer: every result carries the speaker's name directly from the joined database row. A query about one voice will never return another's material.
